Huawei Plans Takeover of Iran's Telecom Market

Huawei, a global leader in telecom equipment, has concentrated its activities in iran on a few fronts, introduction and marketing of modern telecom gear, 24/7 maintenance for sold equipment, promotion of domestic manufactured and research & development are among those topics. Huawei has gained the trust and alliance of major governmental and private entities within a short period telecommunication company of iran and telecom operators of variousMajor industries are the Main clients of Hawley’s SDH and DWDM services.

In addition, 130 cities throughout iran are currently taking advantage of the optic fiber net work implemented by Huawei. According to Huawei electrical industries, military industries and private ISPs are among other clients of this telecom giant. Included in Hawley’s record in iran is the installation of the national data network for the infrastructural communications company and also installation of smart network for Tehran and Mashhad’s mobile communication. Huawei has also been responsible for the signaling equipment between telecom centers and the infrastructural
Communication Company. The value of Hawley’s contracts during 2008 has been announced as US$ 23/8 million, 72% of which has been generated by international contracts. The company’s products are currently being employed in over 100 countries and are ranked among the best in the fields of IP DSLM , NGN , CDMA , SDH, MSAN ,and DWDM equipments.
